Message From the Superintendent

As we transition into a new season, I want to reflect on our district's progress and express my gratitude for your continued support and patience during the ongoing construction projects in every school building. These improvements represent a significant investment in our students' future, and your flexibility throughout this transformative period has been invaluable as we work to create learning environments that reflect the excellence we strive for every day.

I am thrilled to announce that kindergarten registration for the 2026 -2027 school year is now open, marking a historic milestone for our district. We are proud to offer full-day kindergarten to every eligible student district-wide, fulfilling the promise made when voters overwhelmingly supported our 2023 district referendum. In the new year, please watch for forthcoming information regarding school start times and grade reconfigurations for the 2026 -2027 school year. This is an exciting time to be part of the Bridgewater-Raritan community, and I look forward to continuing our work together to provide an exceptional educational experience for every student who walks through our doors.

Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District staff members were honored for two achievements—25 years of service and achieving tenure—on Tuesday, November 18.

On that evening, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education recognized these staff members during the regular public meeting at the Wade Administration Building.

Superintendent Bob Beers and Dr. Dan Fonder, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel, presented certificates to the honorees in attendance at the meeting.

Two State Sectional Champions Crowned at High School

One team tackled its challengers, the other team ran past its challengers.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School celebrated two athletic teams that won state sectional championships this fall.

The Bridgewater-Raritan High School football team achieved school history when it won the first-ever state playoff sectional title by defeating Bayonne High School, 21-14, in the North Jersey Section 2, Group 5 state sectional title game before an energetic crowd at newly renovated Basilone Memorial Field on Friday, November 14.

This memorable event came a week after the Bridgewater-Raritan High School girls' cross-country team won the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 state sectional championship on Saturday, November 1, at Greystone Park in Morris Plains. That was the first state sectional title for the girls' cross-country program since 2006.

Congratulations to both of our Panther state championship squads.
