Course Registration and Selection

Scheduling Season for the 26-27 School Year Continues through March 27th.

Online course registration has concluded. Your child’s school counselor will be meeting with your student individually to review their course selections through March 27th.

If your child has questions or would like to change any of their requests, they can do so during their appointment. Below is a link to the Program of Studies for your reference.

Additional resources can be found on the Scheduling and Course Registration page on the website.

AP/Honors Prerequisites

Hundreds of AP potential letters were generated last week and sent to students at BRHS. AP Potential is generated from a students' participation in the PSAT, which was administered at BRHS in October. It simply uses statistical data to predict a student's success on an AP exam based on their PSAT scores.

Make sure you consider it when you're enrolling or selecting your courses for next year!

Please take a look below at the grade requirements for students interested in taking an Honors or AP-level course for next school year.

Option II

If your child would like to request Alternate PE, Service Learning, or Credit Acceleration, they should plan to meet with their school counselor to discuss their interest. If viable to pursue, a link to the Option II form will be shared.

Option II Deadlines:

  • Acceleration Credit - June 3, 2026
  • Alternate PE - Applications must be submitted within the first calendar week of the applicable marking period

Wellness

Mental Health Consideration

Anxiety is a common emotion that kids feel. In some students, anxiety can be manageable, but in others, we may notice as parents that we need to assist our students more than expected. This makes us ask: are we helping our students by giving them this extra support? Check out this article by the Anxiety Institute to see the Do’s and Don’ts of family accommodation.
